FinPlan holds financial records, so here is plainly what is stored, who can read it, and how to get rid of it. In short: your data is stored for you, only you can read it, and you can export or destroy all of it yourself at any time.
Only what you enter: expenses, income sources, monthly commitments, assets, debts, insurance policies, fixed and recurring deposits, money lent out, salary profiles and loans. Plus the email address (and, with Google sign-in, the name and profile photo) your sign-in provider gives us.
The calculators at /calculators need no account and store nothing — the numbers you type never leave your browser.
Only you. Every record lives under your own account in Google Cloud Firestore, and database security rules reject any read or write where the requester is not the owner. That is enforced by the database itself, not by application code that could be bypassed.
If you use the built-in AI assistant, the figures needed to answer your question are sent to DeepSeek's API, which generates the reply. That is unavoidable for a feature of that kind, and it only happens when you actually use the assistant — if you never open it, nothing is ever sent. Every change the assistant makes is recorded in an audit log on your account.
There is no analytics, no advertising pixel and no third-party script anywhere in this app. Nobody is paying for your data, because it is not for sale. Hosting and the database are Google Cloud services, which process data on our behalf to run the app.
From your account page you can download everything as a single JSON file, or permanently delete it. Deletion removes every record — including soft-deleted items and the assistant's audit log — and then deletes your sign-in account. It is immediate and irreversible: there is no grace period and no backup on our side, which is exactly why the export exists. Take a copy first if you might want the data later.
